Mark Begley

Mark Begley is the founder and owner of Beach Point Shellfish and has been growing Beach Point Oysters on Cape Cod since 1999. He has a Master of Science degree in Engineering from Northeastern University, with over 30 years of professional experience in the field of environmental science and engineering.

Mark is a longtime member of the Massachusetts Aquaculture Association and is on their Board of Trustees. He has also helped in the development of Best Management Practices, previously served on the Town of Barnstable’s Shellfish Committee, and has provided consulting services related to shellfish aquaculture and surface-water nutrient management.

Mark was born in Boston where he met his wife Linda; they moved to their favorite place, Cape Cod, Mass., where they raised their three children.
