Aquaculture Research Grants
USDA's Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service's Small Business Innovation Research, also known as the USDA SBIR program, awards research grants to widen the knowledge and technology base for the domestic aquaculture industry. The Aquaculture Grants program emphasizes research leading to improved production efficiency and increased competitiveness of the US aquaculture sector, funding studies of commercially important (or potentially important) species of fish, shellfish and plants from both freshwater and marine environments.
